Maine Coon Kittens coming in Nov/Dec 2024 and going to their new homes Jan/Feb 2025
My name is Pamela Maag and I am the Owner/Breeder at Last Frontier Maine Coons in Wasilla, Alaska. My husband Dallas makes Last Frontier Maine Coons possible for me.
I have lived in Alaska for 35 years and I love it here. Dallas and I are avid Maine Coon lovers as well as we love to fish for Alaskan Salmon, halibut and just about anything else in the water.
We are also huge Harley Davidson riders and even though our riding season up here in Alaska is short, we make the most of it.
I have always had cats since I was a very young girl of 4 years old. When I was little, I really thought all dogs were boys and all cats were girls because no ‘girl’ would go potty in the yard. That was just for big brothers and dad. LOL
Anyway, my first Maine Coon was named Blue. My small children at the time were fascinated with Blues Clues and they loved Blue so there we go.
Blue was roaming our parking area one morning and he jumped into my car and would not leave. He was filthy, greasy, hair all matted and appeared as if he had been sleeping inside engine compartments to keep warm and he was he hungry.
Blue became our first family cat and he was BIG. 24 toes, about 22-24 pounds and had a freckle on his eyeball.
At that time there was a trailer park and condos near by and we thought he came from there so we posted flyers (no internet back then) but no one claimed him. I could not leave him out there in the cold Alaska weather, so I took him to the vet immediately, got him a bath, brush, and he was smelling all good. Back to the beautiful big black Maine Coon that he was.
Since Blue came into our lives, I have always LOVED Maine Coons because of their size, their demeanor and their unique personalities. I’ve had dozens of cats and loved each one of them but completely fell head over heels for Blue, the giant Maine Coon.
Fast forward about 30 years and here we are.
I started Last Frontier Maine Coons in January 2024 because I missed having a Maine Coon around and I want the world to know how unique and fascinating these Gentle Giants really are.
We have plans for Jax and Harlee to breed in November/December 2024 and kittens should be here in January/February 2025. This will be my first litter of Maine Coon kittens and we are very excited.
Check out our Cat Family Tree link below to see the history of Jax and Harlee, their parents and grandparents and what beautiful kittens they will have.
I have also put some pictures of me and Dallas here along with some fishing pictures so you can get to know us better.
