Our kittens leave our home at around 8-12 weeks old or once they are weaned from their Momma. They will have their first 2 sets of shots and will be microchipped prior to leaving our home and traveling to your home. This ensures the best start to a happy healthy life. It is your responsibility to continue on with the vaccination and treatment plan set by your veterinarian.
- It is your responsibility to have your veterinarian check out the kitten within the first 72 hours after the kitten goes to your home. Flying and/or traveling in cars is stressful to kittens so it’s best to give them some ‘downtime’ to get acquainted with their new home.
- You will also need to take your kitten to the Vet again at 4 months old for booster shots, rabies shots and discuss getting them fixed. Talk to your Vet about the best time table for your kitten.
- Excellent info on Spaying/Neutering your kitten:
Our Vet Suggests:
Females: 6 months to get spayed
Males: 7 to 8 months get neutered.
- Our home is a closed home meaning no unknown people, other cats or animals come in. This ensures our adult cats remain negative for FIV/FeLV, (FIV is primarily transmitted through biting from infected cats. Casual contact between cats is VERY unlikely to cause transmission. FeLV can be transmitted through saliva, tears, nasal secretions, urine, and feces.) (your kitten will NOT be tested but is guaranteed to be free of these diseases for 3 days after leaving our home). If you would like your kitten to be tested prior to leaving our home, $150.00 fee will be added to your account.
- Our adult cats and kittens are screened for known health issues of the Maine Coon Breed:
- HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) Fatal Heart Condition.
- SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy specific to Maine Coons.
- PK Deficiency (Erythrocyte Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency). A known blood disorder in Maine Coons.
Should your veterinarian determine your kitten has a genetic issue you will be offered another kitten (if you so choose) at no charge to you, shipping not included. Please send the Vet’s report to pamela907907@gmail.com It is vitally important that you inform us of any genetic issue found so we can stop using the “King” or “Queen” responsible for causing the genetic mutation.
- Kittens remain available until your application for adoption is approved. Promises of payment do not hold kittens. (DO NOT SEND MONEY)
- Our female kittens are $3,000 and males for $3,500 unless an otherwise stated or agreed upon price has been reached.

- If for any reason you are unable to keep your kitten in the future, you promise to contact Last Frontier Maine Coons via email at Pamela907907@gmail.com or call me at 907-538-5977 and inform us of your situation. This way we can make sure the kitten goes to another wonderful home.
- Buyer is responsible for all care and costs of new kitten once kitten is in buyers possession. Breeder is not financially responsible for kitten once it’s yours.
- Be aware of scammers trying to take your money. If you see any of my pictures on other web pages or social media then they have been taken without my knowledge or permission. Our home is in Wasilla, Alaska and I do not send kittens to someone else to sell them. Please let me know so I can bring awareness and action to their scam.
- Seller and Buyer will sign a Kitten Agreement with further details of the above information. Please click the Kitten Agreement button below to get started AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED on the Kitten Application. After you have finished filling out the Kitten Agreement you can come back to our site if needed.
